After generating numerous mechanical and environmental illustrations and designs for a third person shooter, art directed several junior artists in character design and 3D modeling work. Went above and beyond the call of duty and generated a full illustrated PowerPoint pitch presentation for the employer during a deadline emergency.

Director of new media projects and television properties. Successfully spearheaded and art directed the creation of several pitch packages; moving from concept to direct collaborative interaction with Discovery Channel, BBC, and HBO producers. Created high resolution digital paintings for print media, depicting complex environments and machinery, which were inspired by direct cooperation with consultants from NASA, Boeing, DARPA, and the Air Force.

Digital Illustrator, 3D modeller, animator, renderer and rigger for various clients including Orbitz, Hostway, and Marvel Comics. Created production artwork assets for web design, as well as flash animation for pop-under games. Often granted high degree of creative control and decision making. Designed Hostway mascot, Leroy the Hand. The character design and associated website received a Favorite Website Award (www.thefwa.com) Generated high resolution environment paintings for game backgrounds using 2D and 3D techniques.

Implemented new asset of 3D design capabilities for up-and-coming web design boutique, contributing to the quality of output and client interest. Created complex, broadcast quality 3D logo animations for a variety of clients and themes.

GADGET - September 2001/ June 2003
Operated in two capacities for non-profit aerospace team: lead scientist and art director. As a scientist, led three successful spaceflight experiments, two of which flew aboard the space shuttle. As an artist, generated sophisticated 3D animations depicting difficult engineering concepts, redesigned the image of the team with a thorough cross platform art campaign of print and broadcast.
